As the Tree Hrolgar grew, it split the Seed Hredjin into many pieces, its roots carrying the shards down into the Nether. When Malathier planned to overtake Terra, he found one of these shards. Instilling it with the most potent of his magic, he threw it out from the Nether as far as he could. It danced along the border between the Void and the Thier, finding its place above Terra as the Moon. Its appearance in the sky signaled the beginning of the Second Age. Malathier's Titans were grown on this moon before falling to the surface of Terra.
